Accounting journals allow you to classify and organize entries according to their nature.
Introduction
An accounting journal is a register in which transactions of the same nature are chronologically recorded. Each accounting entry must be assigned to a journal.
Journal Types
The main types of journals used:
Bank Journal (BNQ)
Records all banking transactions: transfers, direct debits, card payments.
Cash Journal (CSE)
Records cash transactions: receipts and payments.
Purchase Journal (ACH)
Records purchase invoices for supplies and services.
Sales Journal (VTE)
Records sales invoices and services.
Payroll Journal (PAI)
Records salaries and social charges.
Miscellaneous Operations Journal (OD)
Records adjustment entries, depreciation, provisions.
